Dear guests, welcome to De Olijfboom! Since 2014 the place to discover the taste of delicious traditional Greek cuisine in the heart of the vibrant city of Groningen. We pride ourselves in the authenticity of our cooking. We use the best natural ingredients to produce tasty and healthy food and represent the true style of Greek home cooking. So… mixed grilled meat and fries are not available in our kitchen.

Our menu has something for everyone from meat and alternate fish dishes to vegetarian and vegan meals. All meals are prepared freshly from scratch each day using seasonal products. As you enter the restaurant, you can already see the dishes of the day presented in the vitrine, a veritable feast for the eye! Feel free to put together your own combination, either to enjoy in the restaurant or to take away.

Ouzerie

The Ouzerie provides an informal setting where one can enjoy a couple of glasses of wine, or a coffee, and taste whatever food you like from the daily selection in the vitrines.

The same idea applies as above, you can put together your own selection to share with your friends, and if it is too difficult to make a choice, leave it over to us to provide you with a delightful selection! It goes without speaking, that our selection includes many traditional Greek drinks from ouzo to world-class wines, specialty beers and Greek herb tea, and not to be missed: Greek coffee.

Our restaurant has places for up to 35 people. For groups of 6 upwards we provide a special menu which includes a taste of all sorts of cold and warm meals from the daily selection (23,50 p.p).
